The majestic environment of Salt Lake City
Yes, because of the natural attributes of the mountains with their valleys, Salt Lake City has an ideal environment for adventure sports like mountain biking, trekking, climbing, hiking, skiing, and snowboarding that have become part of the culture of the city.
The Jordan River flows through the city and empties into the Great Salt Lake. An extensive marshland and mudflats separate Salt Lake City from the Great Salt Lake.
The shorelines of the Great Salt Lake have frustrated attempts to development, due to the ever-fluctuating condition of the river, and because of that, much of your border are extensive wetlands.
But, there are beaches on the lake. Bridger Bay Beach is located at the north end of Antelope Island, and it seems to be the nicest beach in the lake, it’s two-mile-long, a hundred yards of white oolitic sand ( most grains are smooth and perfectly round), and you may have the experience of floating like a cork because it’s not possible to sink in the lake due to the concentration of salt in the water.
Simply float on the lake with nothing to do, see the sky, hear nature, and enjoy that one-of-a-kind experience that you will remember for the rest of your life.
